  The school is Located in the very center of the Balikesir city. Its well known school in the city. In the school there are 1 director, 2 vice-directors,48 teachers and over 782  students. 2 years ago school converted to a secondary school. Also School has 2 pre-school classes. Education continues in two shifts at the school. One in the morning till noon and other shift starts from noon to evening. The school has great average level to send students to Anatolian high schools by having success on entering exams for those collages. Also the school is aiming the students 'social and cultural activities.The students have a lot of championships in different kinds of sport competitions  and social competitions. The school has run already 3 Comenius school partnership projects and completed successfully. That’s why it has qualification in European projects. Both teachers and students are aware of European cultures diversity. The school is also selected as a pilot school because its  location by the provincial directorate for national education for new applications in education.
