  The school is a public institution founded in 1929. Today, the organization consists of three separate buildings – a primary school in Gorkeho street and two kindergartens on the suburb of the city of Olomouc for 77 little children (under 6 years old).They are a family oriented primary school where twelve experienced teachers, three after school club educators, one teacher´s assistant, three caretakers, the headmaster and his deputy are employed. There are 221 pupils (6 – 15 years old) altogether attending the school in eleven classes and nine years in the school year 2014/2015. Although the institution hasn´t got any specialization, there are several after school clubs working at school – Photographic, Ceramic, Theatre, Sports and Math clubs. The school is also involved in several national projects – they are the main organizer of prestigious regional sports project called "The Badge of Versatility of Olympic Winners" and we also take part in two eco-friendly national projects called "A tapir is calling – let´s separate old paper!" and "Recycle-playing".
